February 14: I love

Sunday mornings. Having an excuse to put on a nice pair of shoes. Spending time in a community of support where our faith is deepened and our ability to extend ourselves in love is expanded. Eating a delicious hot breakfast in the church hall afterwards (doesn't food always taste better when someone else makes it?). And now, the sound of Ben turning the pages of the Sunday paper from his favorite seat in the house. And it's official: I have been asked to be someone's Valentine. How lucky.

There is fullness in simplicity.
Happy Valentine's Day to you.

Those little red shoes are so cute and it brought back memories of when as a child I had a new pair of red shoes every year. I would wait for the day to arrive when I could go to the shoe shop and buy those little red shoes.
Thanks for bring back the memories and yes, I agree food always tastes better when some-one else makes it.
Happy Weekend

I love Sundays too. We have just recently gine back to church and I think there is something so calming about mass on a Sunday morning. We dont get as dressed up as you guys do but that formality makes it even nicer, right?

I must say, today was an especially dressy day... we have been known to show up to church in jeans (us) and jammies (the kids). But dressing up does make it feel special. Ann, a new pair of red shoes every year sounds like heaven!
