February 12: I love

the journey of the creative spirit. We have recently started allowing Zosia to use our point and shoot on a somewhat limited basis... and I have started looking forward to reviewing the pictures she's taken at the end of the day. It almost reminds me of those little cameras that they strap on cats for a day-- and the amazing adventures these cameras document. Here are a few shots from a day in the life of a two year old.

Don't forget to track more love through the love button!

Oh now that is awesome!!! And the shot of Selma, taken between Z's fingers, rocks. This would make a great weekly post.

We first gave our seven year old a digital point and shoot when he was five, an inexpensive Argus but not a "kid camera". This past summer we "upgraded" him to our retired Sony cybershot. He loves it and I love nothing more than to have him standing next so me shooting photos and exploring the wonders of photography. I must say, he is developing quite a decent eye!

Very fun! We let Henry take pictures from time to time too. It is so interesting to see what they come up with. They certainly have a different perspective!

I love this! You have quite the little artist on your hands. I'm so happy to see people handing real tools over to children! Lovely, lovely, lovely!!!
