Indoors: the result of a baking/cooking flurry that resulted in three days of precooked meals. Sometimes weather changes impact me like that. These are strawberry shortcake thumbprints.. yum.
And outdoors: it's still snowing... although not with the magnitude I had imagined. The wind makes everything look a hazy white. We have power, food, and lots of crafting supplies, and for that I am deeply grateful.

Snowy weather puts me in a cooking frenzy, too. Unfortunately (?), our snow stopped and it's sunny now. I'm halfway through a couple of recipes that I have to finish. It's tougher to do that now that we're basking in warm sunlight.
I'm really enjoying your LOVE postings! I 'love' snow...though I use that term in hushed tones today. Being a true Southern gal where we rarely see snow...it's a 4 letter word here. Although I am thankful we aren't stormed in like many of ya'll are! We DID see a few flurries this morning.
These look SO yummy right now. We are really loving the storm. It looks like around 12 inches up here... I also had some things cooking today--a bean and pork stew.
I love the the view through the window. I keep thinking that mornings in the 50's are cold. Perhaps not.
Tasty treats! Baking is just the thing to do in cold weather. I especially love how it makes the house extra warm and cozy. It is nice to get ahead on meal prep so that there is extra time for the fun stuff. I might have to give that a go next week! Sunny and cold here...
It looks much nicer inside!! Although, I wish we were getting more snow here. It will take a while for that to melt! Glad you are warm and have supplies.
oooh can i please have the recipe for those cookies? they sound (and look) yummy.
