Make Me Smile

A colorful scarf to wear around my head, neck, or waist. Or all three in one day.

A sweet vintage book we found at our new favorite used bookstore. It has captured my wee one's heart. And my heart too.

Little reminders that there are tiny children present. All around the house.

This blog part of Steady Mom's 30-minute blog challenge. Other 30-minute moms, please let me know if a picture post is cheating. Because we certainly want to abide by the rule around here. :-)

Those are great pictures that made me smile. They are proof that the simplest things are what make life beautiful.

No, not cheating at ALL!! Especially if you took all the lovely photos!

Charming and encouraging way to remind us to notice the good stuff - no matter how simple!

Those are exactly the kind of things I need reminding to be thankful for.

I love those little reminders that there are children present. I remember when I was younger, I would go into someone's house where there were children and see things like toys in the bathtub. It always made me long for my own children. Now those reminders are LITERALLY strewn about my house everywhere.

Yes, it seems the most simple things can bring the greatest happiness. I love the picture of the little reminders that children are present. After my children are asleep, it always makes me smile when I go to the kitchen and see their bibs hanging up to dry.

I love the colors in that scarf. Aren't they so fun? We have that little stool in our kitchen too. It always makes me smile (unless I bump my toe on it, then it makes me swear!)

it is the noticing of the little things that make our worlds go round, isn't it?

I love that this is a picture post of smiley things. And it's the colors that make me smile. Thanks for sharing.

Posts like this can be a touchstone when you're having a rough day, or a flash of yellow when everything seems gray. Thanks for the idea!
