Effortless Eating

Doesn't summer make it feel like a snap to create a delicious meal?  The farmer's market is abundant, the CSAs open (thanks for the surplus delivery, Michelle), and everything starts tasting more flavorful.  Any sort of recipe seems like overkill when the ingredients on hand are so wonderful.  Lunch: fresh tomatoes, peaches ("cosmetically challenged," of course), a slice of farmer's market bread with butter and a glass of milk.  Dinner: grilled meat of some sort (beef brisket tonight), salad, some berries and corn on the cob.  Hugo likes it, can't you tell?  And it sort of feels like cheating to have a clean kitchen when you're done making dinner.
