At the Table

We have a new table guest around here. Where we used to place Hugo on the floor nearby for our meals, or take turns holding him, he is now a full-fledged, table-sitting member of the family. And in the past three days or so, he has started making quite an oration if he does not have an equitable share of the meal! His favorites so far: oatmeal, banana, avocado, and egg (my breakfast portion has gotten smaller because Hugo nibbles up so much of it!). And we have found that we can usually buy a few minutes of adult-eating time if we feed him cheerios one by one. I think it's time for me to pull out that trusty manual baby food grinder to place on the table so we can start grinding some of our food up for him! What fun to have a new member at the family table.
