In the Kitchen

One thing I love about blogging is the opportunity to learn from (aka: copy) some wonderful ideas out there. Johanna's Mango Red Pepper Salad looked too good to pass up. So good, in fact, that I went ahead with it even when missing the key ingredient, mango. But it turns out that Pineapple Red Pepper Salad is pretty good, too (I am still planning on trying the recipe in its unadulterated form sometime soon). And if you have a creative house guest staying with you, you can also enjoy some...

Pineapple Sangria. Even better the second day, when the pineapple has infused the liquid with its sweet flavor.... What can I say? I am a sucker for sangria.

So now please share any culinary adventures happening in your home! I would love to hear about them.

Oh gosh they both look so good. I think having a pitcher of sangria in the fridge is going to be in my future.

That looks great! I just tried to make Duro Wat, Ethiopian chicken stew, which was a big hit. :)
