It was a lazy weekend. Sleeping in (Saturday for me, Sunday for Ben), breakfast in bed (bacon, a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie, fresh oranges and coffee. This is perfection), and a meandering stroll through the woods followed by lunch on the deck. The girls decided to spend the afternoon drawing pictures of their own births, which brought back happy memories for all involved. We built a fort, planted the window boxes, and Ben even squeezed in a nice bike ride. Hugo has become quite the gardener, tending to the vegetables (read: digging up the radishes) *and* manning the wheelbarrow. We were silly and creative and together, with nothing in particular on the schedule. I love this little family of ours.
