Feb 2: I love
a certain apple of my eye who has blossomed into a real bona fide dad. He does all those dad things, like smoke a pipe in the evening, wear slippers around the house, gather the children in his arms as they celebrate his return home, and, as a friend pointed out, purchase cashews in pieces and eat them with a spoon because "I'm not going to pay extra for a whole cashew." A full fledged dad, I would say.
