From the pulpit at our church:"The only sin that is unforgivable is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. Which means, in essence, that we refuse to be forgiven. So it's a catch 22: if we refuse to be forgiven, we're not. If we allow ourselves to be forgiven, we are."
