I took a long run in the rain, the hood of my raincoat down. Getting your face and hair totally wet is so refreshing, and I can only imagine the rain must be so life-giving for all of the plants and animals as well. There is something to be said for enjoying the earlier hours of the day, too... Ben says I still have the sleep schedule of a teenager, preferring to stay up late and sleep in half the day. But there is such excitement and energy in the morning: I'm hoping enough to make an earlier rise time a habit around here.

I love to sleep in too, I only get to about once a month and never until the time I would want to sleep in to. But, I love the idea of uncovering your face in the rain. Since it's raining here today, I should try this!!!
Good idea! I am sitting here imagining (remembering) what it feels like to run in the rain :)
It's POURING here today. Uh, I'd much rather cover my head and stay in bed. LOL Yet, when my children were little ...we have had to run, dance, hop puddles in the rain play!
Sherri, I'm laughing outloud. Yes, I must admit, staying dry has its perks... I'm not minding it right now. But I promise, getting wet is so rejuvenating!
Ahh, I hate getting wet so much so that my grandmother used to tell me that I am not made out of sugar. Thank G-d we live in the desert now, not much rain.
We have a pool which I don't use much because of the getting wet problem. Luckily my monkeys LOVE getting in the water.
You look good for a someone that just went running, but then again I always think you look good. That's why when the boys say, "You look Miss Adele" I always love it!

I LOVE running in the rain too. I find it so refreshing. It is actually one of my favorite times to run..And I too have the sleep habits of a teenager.
I'm ready for a run in the rain. A walk would be very good too!
I love, love, love early morning. Me up first, out the door -- there's promise in the early. But then every once in a while a take a little snooze in the afternoon and find myself up after all my people are off to sleep and it becomes one am before I notice. Not my turf, but boy, I love it when I visit!
Vicki, I am slow to come around to early morning, but for the first time I truly "get" it... what a gift to get a jump start on the day. But yes, my teenager tendencies are hard to manage. ;-)
